Ray Reiland is both a master Wood Turner and a Sculptor. He started out making leather goods, then gravitated toward wood turning following a inspirational demonstration in the early 80s. Ray joined Gold Coast Woodturners, where he won several awards over the years.
The woods he works with are donated from local tree trimmers and many varieties are available including Mahogany, Norfolk Island
When you start a project with one of the logs you never truly know what you will get. The color may vary from dark to light there may be knots and the grain can be plain to wild and beautiful. Because of these variations you must work with what nature gave us.

Carol Kepp was educated at the Cleveland Inst of Art and Cleveland Ad School. Carol returned to fine art and is teaching art classes and workshops at the Hobe Sound Fine Arts League Gallery and The Artist Nook in Stuart. Working with adults that have a desire to find their hidden talent has brought me much joy.
